Studies on the consequences of socio-ecological crises and on the conditions, opportunities and risks of addressing them in a North-South context.

CALAS-Logo

CALAS

As a Center for Advanced Latin American Studies, CALAS seeks to foment research of interest in the social sciences and humanities in Latin America, applying historical, scientific and systematic approaches and employing transdisciplinary and transregional dialogue.

CELA-Logo

CELA

As an interdisciplinary research center, the Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos pools research on Latin America at the University of Kassel and organizes as well as supports international cooperations, collaborations and various research projects.

CLACSO

CLACSO

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) is an international non-governmental institution with associative status at UNESCO, created in 1967. It currently brings together 736 research and postgraduate centers in the field of social sciences and humanities in 51 countries in Latin America and other continents.
